    今天接受我们学生访谈的PGA学子是胡一诺同学,胡一诺同学目前已收获了多所知名大学的offer,真是可喜可贺。下面,就请胡一诺同学来给大家分享一下她的求学之路吧!

    ——  关于标化  ——





    好的开始是成功的一半。关于申请中至关重要的标化考试分数,选择适合自己的考试类型可以大大节省精力与学习时间。分享下我的感受:三年前,我对出国这条路没有很清晰的认识,像托福、雅思这样的语言考试只是一知半解。进入高中后跟着学校安排的托福课程学习了一段时间后,我参加了第一次托福考试,结果是惨不忍睹。之后在高一结束后的暑假赴宁波参加了第二次考试,也就是这一次,让我决心与托福告别转战雅思。


    两种语言考试,难度基本持平,但对于听力不擅长的同学,雅思或许是个更好的选择。当然,与考官面对面的口语考试环节也十分挑战考生的应变能力。当学弟学妹们在考试中遇到了瓶颈,可以尝试换一条路继续攻克。美国高考(ACT/SAT)对于申请国外大学也是必不可少项。高二下学期刚刚接触到ACT,我还未意识到情形的急迫,直到高三开始身边的同学们纷纷考取到心仪的标化成绩,我才发现自己停滞不前。先前托福与几次ACT机考的失败经验提醒了我,或许换个环境换个模式能激发出我的洪荒之力,于是去年12月份我登上了前往塞班的航班参加了ACT纸考。终于在2020来临之际,我把握住了这最后一次来之不易的机会,取得了心仪的分数。




    ——  爱舞蹈  ——



    丰富的兴趣爱好与活动能给申请的履历锦上添花。对我自身而言,坚持了十五年的舞蹈是我最大的收获。我自知是一个没有天赋的人,为了在舞台上短暂的闪耀只能付出努力与汗水。在中考那年,面对学业的压力我没有放弃,选择继续坚持舞蹈这条我热爱的路。在大同PGA的三年,学习紧张的氛围下我依旧保持每周三次舞蹈课,并争取把每次的排练做到最好,因为我相信,每一次重复的练习,都在为进阶做铺垫。






    Starting learning Chinese folk dance from the age of three, I have been holding this interest for over fifteen years. A lot of laurels and glories have been gained from dancing, either little or great. However, I value all the experience equally, since the real hardship throughout the process and the hidden pains only visible to myself, and what others can see is always the tip of the iceberg.


    During the highly intensive training time beyond my daily exercise, I have had so many falls that I hurt all over the body, yet those did not stop me from loving dancing. In Grade 9, I faced enormous pressure to enroll in high school, and my parents and teachers all exhorted me to abstain from dancing so as to concentrate on preparing for the academic exam. Nevertheless, I hold my ground and believed that I was able to balance the academic study and dance training with my unremitting efforts. Eventually, the result turned out to be satisfactory for my parents and me.


    As a high school student, faced with heavy academic pressure, I still insist on dance training three times a week. This form of art displays the body with the most elegant and graceful manner possible. Dance is not only my interest but also the hobby that I am willing to keep on for the rest of my life, which gives me the momentum to move forward whenever I am stagnant. No matter what kind of frustration on the road may occur in the future, I will never give up, as what dancing has taught me from years’ practices, you can get the result you want in the end without losing your original intention.

    在中国光大银行的实习经历也十分有意义,在2019年年初我报名参加了中国光大银行举办的阳光菁英汇活动,作为唯一的高中生,刚开始独自面对大三大四的学姐学长时的胆怯不言而喻,但在结营仪式上我能自信的在大家面前演讲交流心得。为期一周的学习中了解了许多金融行业的专业知识,在银行大堂服务过客人,体验了全球500强的食堂伙食,更是锻炼了独立自主的思考能力。





    同一个寒假,我加入的纯公益性语言文化交流项目“情系远山”也拉开了帷幕,活动旨在促进中外学生的在线面对面交流,在培养学生的全球思维方式的同时,帮助中国学生英文语言能力的提升。活动中我与北美的志愿者们分享交流文化话题,利用网络协助偏远山区的学生开拓视野,致力于成为具有民族意识到现代化公民,在双向了解的过程中,使得中国文化更为广泛深入得为西方学生所接受及传播。




    Before the official start of this program, I only intended to advance my ability of expression and presentation skills merely because of my pudency in front of the public. After the half-month activity, I was pleased to find that I had gained the ability to talk in a comfortable mood in front of many people. Simultaneously, I enhanced my English oral communication skills and logical thinking ability. Through communications that covered a wide range of topics, I also developed a particular interest in social news and started to keep an eye on international hotspot issues. In the process of mutual communications, Chinese culture can be more visually and diffusely accepted and disseminated by western students, which made me very proud.
